Writing Task 8: The best transport solutions for Bali

Writing Task 8: The best transport solutions for Bali
What do you think about Bali? Yeah, it’s one of the beautiful islands in Indonesia. Now, I’m living in Bali for a month to study English in IALF Denpasar. Before I come to Denpasar, I think that Denpasar have good public transportation such as Trans Yogyakarta. But I’m wrong. Public transportation in Bali isn’t good enough. Many tourists who go around Bali prefer to rent a car or motorcycle than use public transportation. Of course, it make Denpasar road become so crowded.
In one week I live here, I saw traffic jam in the road. I tried to use bemo to go to department store and I saw that only a few people used bemo. Maybe many people feel that bemo isn’t comfortable. So, I think bemo isn’t the best transport solutions for Bali. We can try to learn from Yogyakarta. Trans Jogja became one of favorite transportation to go around Yogyakarta. Only 3.000 rupiah, you can go to around Yogyakarta.
There are Trans Sarbagita , bus by Indonesia Transportation Affairs. Trans Sarbagita launched at August, 18th 2011. The name of Sarbagita is from four towns in Bali, there are Denpasar, Badung, Gianyar dan Tabanan. From now, trans Sarbagita have two routes. The First, From Batu Bulan to Nusa Dua. The second, from Kota Denpasar to GWK. Trans Sarbagita fare are 2.500 rupiah for student and 3.500 rupiah for others people. In Five years later, the government hopes Trans Sarbagita can have many routes that can reach many places in Bali.
Trans Sarbagita can give the best solution for traffic jam in Bali. As a international tourism destination, Bali must have good public transportation to support domestic tourist and also international tourist. Furthermore, Trans Sarbagita can be the best alternative public transportation for the local resident so that they can leave their cars in home. It can reduce many cars that fulfill in the Bali road. And maybe traffic jam never happens again in Bali.

Writing Task 7 : My craziest Experience in a restaurant

I have a friend. Her name is Elsy Arifa.  We have the same hobby to go to culinary place in Malang. We eat in the many places with different concept like restaurant, café, canteen, food court, street food, and the others.
We complete each other in this hobby. She completes me when I don’t know much about the name of vegetables, flavor, and meat. Usually in the new place that we never come before, we often debate where we choose to sit. She likes to try something new especially new menu. And because I’m a fussy eater, we usually debate when we choose the menu. She will reads all of menu and calls the waiter to ask everything for example the menu name, composition from it, and how to cook that.
Last year ago, we went to one famous café in Malang “Ria Djenaka”. Elsy brought some cakes that she bought when she travelled to Thailand. Enthusiasly, I ate a cake. But when I ate it, one waiter came to us and told us that we couldn’t bring some food from outside. Elsy and the waiters debated for a few minute and because I already ate this, Elsy told to the waiters how much she must pay when we brought and ate food from outside. Then, the waiters count all of the cake in the table and told us how much we must pay. We pay all and immediately went out from this café. What a bad day.

Writing Task 6 : Describe your own eating habits

Every morning, I only drink a cup of cereals for breakfast before I go to work. While I do my work, I usually make a cup of tea (sometime I make a cup of coffee) and eat some snacks. Until lunch break time, I usually eat much rice for main dishes with side dishes like fried chicken, or tempe, or tofu. For Dinner, I usually eat fried rice and make some coffees while I need to stay up until morning

There are my eats habitual. I eat much food when it’s spicy because I love relish. But, I eat a few  food when it’s soto, rawon, or soup. I like eats junk food like burger, hotdog, French fries although I know its bad for our health.  I have bad habit that I can’t change is I usually eat ice cube from my cool drink. If I eat in the restaurant with my friends and they have ice cube in their drink, I usually ask them to give their ice cube to me. My friends often complain me and remember me that I lost 3 teeth because this bad habits . But until now, I still can’t change my unhealthy eat habits. Maybe tomorrow,  or next week, or next month, or next year. I Hope.
